Warsaw Community Schools is proud to announce that Jefferson Elementary has earned the title of Brackets & Bots AI Elementary Champion following an engaging month-long districtwide challenge. This initiative marked the launch of a new partnership between Warsaw Community Schools and Skill Struck, a K–12 technology education company focused on providing safe, guided access to artificial intelligence tools for students and teachers.
Throughout the month of March, elementary schools competed in the Brackets & Bots AI Challenge, using Skill Struck’s Chat for Schools and Learning Studio platforms to promote student engagement, innovation, and instructional creativity.
Jefferson Elementary emerged as the top-performing school with standout achievements, including:
16 teachers actively engaged
411 instructional prompts and 72 teacher chats
20 AI tutors created by staff
10 Learning Studios launched
64 student users on the platform (48 new in March)
1,898 student prompts submitted (632 added in March)
123 student-created AI tutors
Skill Struck’s platforms allow teachers to control how AI is used in the classroom through safety features like history logs, restricted word filters, and an on/off switch. Learning Studio tools, such as quiz and lesson generators, text transformers, and tutor creators, are helping educators streamline planning and instruction.
“These numbers represent more than data—they reflect a culture of innovation, collaboration and forward-thinking instruction,” said James Davis, WCS Director of Technology. “We’re excited to see how our educators are using AI to support student learning in meaningful ways.”
