Forget Princess, I want to be an Engineer!
Last Thursday, around 50 7th/8th-grade females were mentored by 14 female engineers in an engineering challenge. The girls were encouraged to ask lots of questions about what it takes to be an engineer. A Warsaw Area Career Center senior, Sydney, was the keynote speaker. She took engineering classes at EMS and continued at the career center. She spoke about her experiences and her future. The event was sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers.
