Mr. Netzley will be hosting a meeting to discuss a travel opportunity for students interested in traveling to Peru in July of 2024! Bring your parents to the meeting in the Edgewood library on Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30p to learn more.
Tickets are still available for today's Winter Dance after school in the commons. The cost for each ticket is $5.00. Be sure to have your ride home here at 5:00p. Bring canned food to the dance to be entered into a drawing for a $10 gift card!
Today is the last day for the Penny Wars competition between the two lunch shifts. Which shift do you think will win?
The Food Drive has started!! We collected over 150 items! That is a good start, but we have a lot of work to do to meet our goals. The top 3 SRT’s are Fisher, Richcreek, & Hawn…in no particular order. Right behind them is Heckaman and Morris. Don’t forget to bring your items to SRT to meet their goal. Last year’s winner (Mrs. Helser) brought in nearly 17 times their goal!! And the year before that, the winner (ALSO Mrs. Helser) brought in over 20 times their goal! Who can dethrone Mrs. Helser as the Queen of the Food Drive?? I know she is up to the challenge of holding on to her crown…and welcomes all to give it their best shot!
Remember, If you help out, you could be entered into the daily drawing at lunch. This doesn’t necessarily mean bringing in tons of stuff (although, we do need that too)…there are several ways to help out! The top 3 SRT classes will earn food parties! And many of our WCS families will be able to enjoy the holidays because of your help. It is a WIN-WIN…you will feel good about helping others, and they will have the items they need to get through Winter Break…and you may win prizes for yourself and your SRT.
Triple points bonus items for today & Monday are Fruit, Toilet Paper, & Deodorant
