First of all, thank you to all of you who helped with the Food Drive by bringing in items, donating money by participating in the Penny Wars, and giving your time and energy to carrying, sorting, and organizing the items and boxes. As a school, our goal was to earn at least 13,140 points. We tripled that thanks to some excellent efforts by many of our SRT classes. Unfortunately we didn’t collect as many items as we had hoped, but thanks to a big day yesterday, we did end up with over 10,000 items that will help our community greatly. Unfortunately, several of our SRT’s didn’t earn their goal, but through the generosity of some of the other SRT’s who exceeded their goal & items donated to our Kroger cart, those who didn’t earn their goal, were gifted the points they needed, so EVERYONE MET THEIR GOAL! Afterall, it is about giving and helping others, right?? And now for the top 3 classes….in Third place with 1036% of their goal is Mr. Netzley’s class. They earned 5,350.5 points! In second place is Mrs. Thompson’s class with 1167.4% of their goal, accumulating 5393.5 points. And the winner is….drum roll please…………..The Food drive Queen herself, MRS. HELSER with 2248% of their goal. They earned 12,138.5 points!! Thank you again to all who contributed!!

We charge a student activity fee for the school year of $25.00 (cash or check only). We do not do school-wide fundraisers at Edgewood, so this money is used to pay for special awards and events for our students. Please be sure to include your student’s name on the check and/or envelope when you pay this fee.
