Coat Drive: Bring in your extra outerwear for our Coat Drive to help those in need in our community. Warm jackets, coats, snowsuits, mittens, hats, scarves, and boots are needed. Bring your items to school and place them in the box on the stage by Monday October 18th.
All Edgewood students now have the Swift Playgrounds app on their iPads. This app teaches how to code as students play the games. Mr. Howett shows students how to get started. #EdgewoodSTEM #wcsmission #togetherwearewarsaw

Enjoy music from Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Coco, Aladdin, and other
classics. And if you've ever wondered how an orchestra can use lightsabers while playing Star Wars music, this is your chance! Will the violas play for the Jedi? Or will they join the Dark Side?

Toxic popcorn? Students in Mr. Fleming's science classes worked to transfer unpopped popcorn from one container to another, using one large rubber band and four ropes. Because the popcorn was "toxic," they were not allowed to touch the containers or cross an invisible barrier. Lots of problem solving and laughter ensued, as well as several successful attempts! #EdgewoodSTEM #wcsmission #togetherwearewarsaw
Successful Living students played the “Speaker-Listener”:game. One person in their group told a story while the rest did things to make communication difficult. Sleeping, interrupting, playing on their iPad and looking away made for a frustrating situation and poor communication. #wcsmission #EdgewoodSTEM #togetherwearewarsaw

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held at Edgewood from 3:30-7:00 on Thursday, September 23. Conferences will be held in the Commons and in the library. Wear your favorite mask and come meet the teachers!

Edgewood will be hosting Reading for Riley, a read-a-thon, for Riley Children's Hospital. Event is Friday, Oct. 8 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Minimum $20 to participate. Pizza, popcorn, and pop will be provided. #wcsmission #togetherwearewarsaw
