Thank you to all of our Field Day volunteers! We are pleased to report that at this time, we have all the extra hands we need for our May 27th day of fun.
We all look forward to a memorable last day of activities with your children. (Now, bring on the warm weather!)

Lunch: Chicken leg with a blueberry muffin or yogurt meal, broccoli with cheese, Cool Tropics veggie juice, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: D.A.R.E. Graduation for 6th Grade, 10:00am; 5th Grade super shots; Kindergarten Community Helpers Celebration, 2:45-3:40.

Activities: 3rd grade ILEARN; Track practice after school until 5:30.
Today is Wednesday, May 4, 2022 — Happy "Star Wars" Day!
Lunch: Cook's Choice or Yogurt Meal, mixed vegetable blend, fresh baby carrots, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: 3rd grade ILEARN testing; Track practice after school until 5:30.
Today is Tuesday, May 3, 2022 — Teacher Appreciation Week.
Lunch : Dill Chicken Bites or Ham & Cheese Anytimer, twister fries, Paradise veggie juice, apple slices, and milk.
Activities: 3rd grade ILEARN testing; Archery after school until 5:00.
Field Day is fast approaching, and we are in need of...WATER BALLOONS!!! This is one of the most anticipated activities, and you can help us out by donating the type of water balloons that fill in bunches (see photo for example). They can be purchased locally or online, like on Amazon, and in any quantity. Feel free to drop them off in the office or give them to Mrs. Monce.

Lunch: Bosco Sticks with marinara sauce or Yogurt Meal, celery sticks, baked beans, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: 3rd grade ILEARN testing, 10:00-11:45 ; Track meet at Lakeview, 5:15.
Did you know that today is National School Principals' Day? We are thankful for Mr. Wall and the enthusiasm and dedication he brings to Jefferson!
Today is Friday, April 29, 2022. (Sunday is the first day of MAY!!!)
Lunch: Beefy Nachos or Yogurt Meal, steamed corn, lettuce & cheese, fruit slushie, graham crackers, and milk.
Activities: 2nd & 5th grades to Cherry Creek; Kindergarten to the Dairy Farm, 9:50-2:15; 4th grade to the Lilly Center, 9:30-11:30; 3rd grade Bicycle Safety, 1:35-2:05.
Students visited cherry creek for water sampling and hands on learning. You can see their curiosity and excitement in their eyes and smiles.

Lunch: Pepperoni pizza rippers or turkey sandwich, broccoli with cheese, Cool Tropics juice, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: 3rd grade to Cherry Creek; Kindergarten to Cherry Creek; Track practice after school until 5:30.
Today Central Office staff treated Jefferson staff to "Cheeseburgers in Paradise," complete with delicious slushies. Yum! (And thank you so much!)

Activities: 1st grade hiking with the Lilly Center; Kindergarten/2nd grade going to Frozen this morning; 5th grade Science Central project from 10-10:30; Archery after school until 5pm; Girls in STEM until 5pm.

Lunch: Calzones or Ham & Cheese Sliders, green beans, fresh veggie mix, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: 4th grade iLearn Testing; Track Meet tonight at WCHS, 5:45pm.
Today is Monday, April 25, 2022 — Late-Arrival Day.
Lunch: Pulled pork street tacos with blueberry muffin or yogurt meal, Paradise veggie juice, mixed vegetable blend, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: G4 starts iLearn Testing; G5 walks to Lilly Center, 1:30-3:30; Track practice, 4-5:30.
Today is Friday April 22, 2022 — Earth Day!
Lunch: Chicken leg with a blueberry muffin or yogurt meal, broccoli with cheese, CoolTropics juice, choice of fruit, and milk.
Activities: Moms and Muffins until 8:45am; G3 Lilly Center indoor field trip from 9:15-11:15; G4 Indoor Eagle Creek field trip, 12:30-3pm; Kindergarten Lilly Center indoor learning from 1-2:30pm.
Tomorrow morning is Moms & Muffins! Doors will open at 8am (–8:45am).
Please park at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Please do not park in the bus lanes in front of the school or at Grace College.
