Washington 4th grade studied pushes and pulls as forces that affect an object. They also learned about how friction can slow an object down. Using Lego Robotics they created a model to test out and demonstrate their learning. Students created robot carts to pull an object and then increased friction by attaching different wheels. #WarsawInspires
We are thrilled to have the fire department mobile library in our Library Innovation Lab for the month of September. Thank you to firefighters Chad Bassett and Cohen Heady for the delivery of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory book mobile. Our Hornets are grateful for our supportive community! #WarsawInspires
Washington 2nd grade kicked off our creek visits last week. They studied Eagle Creek to check for good water quality. Several found Group 1 Macroinvertebrates which means the creek is clean and healthy. #WarsawInspires
Washington 4th graders participated in Lake Adventure Day at Winona Lake. Stations were put on by Grace Education students. 4th graders learned about erosion, pollution, and they also got to go fishing! #WarsawInspires
Washington 6th Graders went rafting with volunteers from the Kosc. County Soil & Water Conservation District. They conducted chemical water tests as well as checking water clarity.
They ended up at Camp Crosley where they ate lunch and learned about watersheds and run off. #WarsawInspires
Kindergarten Parent Drop Off... we want to allow extra time, on the FIRST day of school Friday, 8/9/24, please drop off your child at 9:15. All other student should be dropped off when doors open at 8:55am. PTO will be there to help Kindergarten transition to their classrooms and take pictures.

Boys Basketball Tryouts Tryouts October 12th from 4:15 - 6:15. Fourth and Fifth graders who are attending TBA camp will be released first at 6:15, others will be released at 6:30. All boys will know if they made the team at the end of the tryout date. Boys who make the team will need to have a physical turned into the school by the first practice.
