6 EMS STEM teams will be represented in the Winona Canal Days Cardboard Regatta. 11-12:30 is the creative design vote. 12:30 is when the races start. These teams have been working hard for the past 2 weeks. #edgewoodSTEM #experienceWCS


As part of learning computer science, students created a plan, then built the tallest tower possible using only copy paper. The tower had to remain standing for 30 seconds. Next week, students will revise their plans and rebuild to see if they can do better! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM



Enrichment Friday included Cardboard boat building, board and card games, coding, trivia contests, comic book writing, painting, faux stained glass, kickball, and the top favorites: watching football films and Minecraft! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM




Enrichment Time: in a 2nd day for crafts, students continued to crochet with Audrey, a student leader, paper crafting using a CuttleBug, and knitting! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM





Social Studies Review Challenges: students used a variety of computer apps to review vocabulary, latitude and longitude, and forms of government before taking a test tomorrow. Team competition increased the fun! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM




Edgewood Enrichment: Students were having fun in the gym, engaging in a game of pickleball. #ExperienceWCS



Edgewood Enrichment - Crafts! Students joined Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Eberhardt in the library for craft time. Several created tissue paper flowers, while others made cards using an embosser and lots of washi tape! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM
