ELA students worked in groups to create a basketball hoop through which a ping-pong ball could easily pass. They also needed to create a catapult device that could launch the ping-pong ball toward the basketball hoop. They were given materials such as pipe cleaners, straws, cardboard, masking tape, rubber bands, and popsicle sticks. This was to go along with our novel reading, The Crossover, by Kwame Alexander about two boys in middle school who are extremely good at basketball.

It's hard to believe that it's already the last week of school! In preparation for summer break, don't forget to complete 2023-24 registration in PowerSchool (including pre-registration and all required forms)!
