Mrs. Helser's honors language arts classes researched and presented their Game Changers projects to a panel of judges from the community. The students worked hard, and the judges provided excellent feedback! #ExperienceWCS






A huge congratulations to the choir for taking GOLD at ISSMA again this year! The choir had to perform in front of a panel of 3 judges, and were rated in 9 different categories. Their performance earned them a gold rating based on how well they met the expectations of each of these categories. Great work, choir! #ExperienceWCS


Congratulations to the Advanced Band's performance at Friday nights band contest. The band received a Gold Rating from all 3 judges. They were also awarded a special “with distinction” award for their outstanding scores. At the conclusion of their performance, the students received a standing ovation from the audience. US History Market Revolution Simulation to learn how supply and demand works. Students had to trade different products (bricks, clocks, flour, and shoes) and accumulate 5 of each product to win the game!


Game Day! The 7th grade social studies classes played their board games Wednesday and Thursday this week. They followed a round-robin style with about 10 minutes to play and evaluate each game. Each game had to teach and review one of our recent topics. Students evaluated the games based on clear rules, ease of playing, quality questions and facts, and creativity.
