Richcreek’s SRT class is collaborating with Grace College Engineering Dept on Enable 3D print project. This joint effort is applying to become a chapter. This status will allow us to make prosthetic hands for people in need in our community. #edgewoodSTEM #experienceWCS





The 7th graders worked on a second round of feedback for their board games projects by sharing them with a different team. Teams gave complimentary feedback and any final suggestions before they finish things up. They will play their games on block day. On Friday, students involved in the FFA organization travelled to Northwood High School to compete in the District Leadership Contest. We are so proud of them and all of their hard work! #EdgewoodSTEM #ExperienceWCS


The Advanced Orchestra students did an AMAZING job at ISSMA Contest this past weekend! We traveled to Knox for the event and had a great performance. The students earned a GOLD rating from all three judges! This Gold award definitely shows all the hard work our students put into preparing the music and refining their skills. #ExperienceWCS

Total PE & Wellness students designed a putt putt hole with a partner, built the obstacles and tested them, then played to challenge their skills. They collaborated, reflected, and problem solved, then evaluated other designs throughout the course. #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM

Edgewood seventh graders are fully into building their board games now. They have defined the problem (how to build a board games that teaches a particular history content and is fun to play). They have generated ideas and concepts and proposed them to another team for feedback. Now they are designing their solution and building and testing their games models. Additional feedback is coming before the final presentation of their games. #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM




The Edgewood Advanced Band is rehearsing for their upcoming contest on Friday, March 15. The band will perform at 7:55 pm at Paul Harding Jr. Sr. High School. Admission is free. Best of Luck! #ExperienceWCS

Mrs. Richcreek and Mr. Fleming led Edgewood teachers in the Design Process as we paired up to make a prototype cardboard boat.
