Staff & Students celebrated Principal Akers' 60th birthday with a giant announcement on the front lawn (Thank You Sign Gypsies of Lake City) and a scrolling message on the jumbo electronic greeting sign at WCHS.
After weekend celebrations with family & friends, Mr. Akers was surprised by his front office colleagues Ellen Stayer and Brenda Bonewits with an incredible feast and festive decor.
Tracey Akers, Edgewood School Nurse, surprised her husband with cupcakes from local baker The Black Sheep.
