WARSAW, IN - Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) board members Heather Reichenbach, Brad Johnson, Tom Westerhof and Matt Deuel attended the Consortium of State School Boards Associations (COSSBA) annual conference in Louisville, KY.
Founded by state school boards associations in 2022, the Consortium of State School Boards Associations (COSSBA) is a nonpartisan, national alliance dedicated to sharing resources and information to support, promote and strengthen state school boards associations as they serve their local school districts and board members.
The annual conference is organized to support board development through collaboration, networking and shared resources. Seminar topics included academics, governance, communication, federal legal changes and finance.
WCS Board President Heather Reichenbach noted appreciation for “the dedication of board member colleagues to take time away from their work and families for professional development opportunities. These members model the importance of life-long learning that returns a significant investment to the continued health of our schools and community.”
Dr. Hoffert shared, “We are extremely grateful for the extra time and commitment shown by our board members. Professional opportunities like the COSSBA conference provide our members with new information and the opportunity to collaborate on best practices.”
